Have a great idea but don’t know where to start? Ideas keep coming, but nothing gets done? Let’s make your ideas happen.
Want to get rich and do good at the same time? Start with people.
Not attracting attention? Stop pushing, start pulling.
Want a better logo, a cool website or a viral marketing campaign? Instead, build a brand that you believe in and people will follow.
Having trouble navigating these new waters?
Stop talking ROI and let’s talk people.
On 11.11.11 we’re going to experiment with a different event format where we’ll be inviting anyone from anywhere in the world who, for example, has an idea they want to realize, have a problem they need solved, or who just wants a professional opinion, to come and pick our brains for free.
We will do this live on-site, as well as online for 24 hours, from midnight to midnight on November 11th. We will be broadcasting the event on our own website simultaneously and anyone who is interested will be able to participate or follow the event live through several social media services. Oh and did we mention it’s going to be for free?
There will also be some other surprises in store that will make this event really fun.
Last, but not least, we will be celebrating the global "One Day on Earth" event by documenting the full 24 hours and then submitting the footage for inclusion in the movie.
Together, Pedro and Jyri have more than 40 years of experience making mistakes.
Both have worked with organizations of all sizes, all around the world, and as entrepreneurs in their own ventures. Art director, fruit picker, salesman, professional athlete, diving instructor, university lecturer, dance teacher, ultra-runner and director of education are but a few of the accolades they share between them.
They are true "jacks of all trades" with a passion for design and coaching, as well as a shared vocation for creative thinking. They are now starting they're latest venture - Silo - where they literally want to save the world from bad business development through creative collaboration.
They have also invited some very special guests to join in the conversation and share their ideas, expertise and stories with all of us.
There are many ways you can be a part of this. You can follow the full event on our live broadcast during the day where you’ll be able to watch all that is happening. You’ll be able to join the conversation at any time via Twitter, Facebook and Google+, make and answer questions, propose ideas. If you’re around don’t be shy and come pay us a visit at the Hub Helsinki, between the hours of 9:00 - 20:00 (GMT+2). This will mean you can talk to us face to face and do all the things mentioned above and more.
Now this is really important. If you want us to help you with your business challenges or problems in more depth than by just sending us a question or two via Twitter, we are offering 10 time slots for more comprehensive advice and coaching sessions. To secure one of these slots, whether on-site or online, you’re going to have to send us your pitch in advance as to why we should select you. We will select the one’s that we feel we can help the most, also taking into account how much benefit and interest they might be to others following the event.
We believe that we can make the world better by making businesses better. Small ventures lack the resources to become what they’re aspiring to, and large corporations struggle to deliver and meet the expectations of a new economy that values meaningful relationships, open communication and quality customer service.
In order to improve the way organizations function we engage in open and honest conversation with people who are invested in building good businesses, and together, we come up with great ideas and work to bring these ideas to life. Through creative thinking, design and coaching, we want to help build organizations that make employee and client happiness a priority while building successful and sustainable businesses.
Silo was started by Jyri and Pedro and they are looking to form great collaborations with like-minded people.
